Use your comment sense.A 477whp 3200lbs car will keep up with a 21st century 1000cc bike??

I believe the word you were looking for is "common sense"; and while an Evo may keep up the power to weight ratio is in favor of the 900RR. As a 12 yr old poster I'm sure you have ridden many large liter bikes in your day to know this already though.

Modded Evo= 477whp/3200lbs = 6.7lb/hp.
Stock 900RR= ~110whp/~400lbs= 3.6lb/hp.

As far as meth usage goes, the meth starts pumping when I hit 8 PSI of boost. Im guessing that for 1 minute of being in boost at 8 PSI or more I use about 1 1/2 gallons of meth. Its hard to have 1 minute of boost time during my average commute or rant around town so its not too costly meth wise. I got 10 gallons of VP Racing M-1 (meth) from AMS when I picked up the car, I think it was about 35-40 bucks for a nice 5 gallon can. I try not to drive in the rain so finally my windshield washer tanks gets some use...
Would it be insane to use meth on a road-race course? I mean where you're pretty much either on the brakes or in boost for 20-30min? Is that even possible to last and/or just too plain costly?

I think it would be much easier to disable your meth system (pull out the fuse) and then reflash your ecu (use ecuflash) using a race gas map.

This setup is great. The mivec + 50 trim + alky must be heaven.

in a road race senario I would run race gas and turn the meth off.

Modded Evo= 477whp/3200lbs = 6.7lb/hp.
Stock 900RR= ~110whp/~400lbs= 3.6lb/hp.
not exactly right:

modded evo = 477 + 3200lbs w/driver and gas = 6.7lb/hp

900rr = 110 whp + 600-650lbs w/driver and gas = 5.4-5.9 lb/hp

driver weight is a huge fraction of the total weight on a bike. if your a fatass, you will go much slower then someone who is a twig.

do some weight reduction on an evo to say, 3000 lbs/wdriver:

6.3 lb/hp at this point it is almost a drivers race. aerodynamics will play a huge part in a high speed race.

^that's what I was going to say adding a 200lb driver to the bike changes the p/w by 50% up, whereas even a 350lb driver in an Evo only adds 10%. And that's an even bigger dent out of 110hp than it is out of nearly 500...

Bikes are usually drag limited and have higher top speeds than an Evo so the slight hp/weight advantage over the Evo is more than enough even with an older bike. My CBR weighs 542lbs with me on it and has 173hp to the rear tire (3.13). My Evo weighs 3268 with me in it and has 352awhp (9.28). I know what I choose when I want to go fast.
