Wow thats amazing!! one question tho why was the boost fluttering like that? was that on a MBC? you must have gotten it straightened out later because the graph looked smooth. Just curious . Great numbers!!

Thats the diff between fwd and awd, you can make 800 whp out of a fwd car, but you cant put it down till like 80 mph haha.

Im curious if they are still using the stock axels, im not sure they would hold with slicks at the track.

just goes to show that the srt's do have lots of power potential. If only they were AWD...........

With the proper suspension setup the car certainly has the potential. Guys with less power in the Neon community.

Steve Lockett for instance runs consistant 9-low 10 second times trapping in the 140's in a Neon FWD chasis with about 600whp. Note his car is a good 300-400 pounds lighter than this SRT4 but he is also putting down less power.

Congrats guys keep up the good work AMS and Chris...I can not wait to see what is next for the car .

AWD is not the only way to go fast. Hondas have been going fast before the evo even hit the shores of the United States. With a nice set of slicks and the correct suspension this car should be able to trap 150ish without a problem. Nice car. I'd definitely pick up a used srt-4 if I had the money, a good bang for the buck ride.
