we are at the stage in the game where alot of side work is being done in preperation for the car. I wish it was more glamorious but building a car from scratch takes time and not all of it is flashy.

Is it really just to shove the driver back some more? Or are they just doing it so they can put the seat wherever they want any not worry about it.
It looks like the cage is just tacked together in those pics. So who know's how the final design will turn out. Knowing AMS I'd expect them to think of everything before the cage is in it's final position.

They said they're going to be using a Honda motor. I think it was between a B16A and B18C, with lots of NAWS!!

No, I have no idea, but I think it may depend on the rules of the series they are planning to race in. Given the choice I would think they would use a IX motor.

All the parts that were available to VIII's are now available to IX's. So there wouldn't be any drawback to using it, plus it would help with engine response, which is key on a track car.

Highly unlikely.

Tis the season for tax returns which is big business sometimes for tuner shops like AMS. They are probably up to their gills with orders and requests.

Eric has a paint scheme been decided on yet or are you just prepping the car with primer until the final coat?
