Wicked sick...I can't believe you guys stripped it bare...but that's the only way to go.

So lemme guess, full bead blasting, seam welding, chamfering of certain areas and a full cage?

As for Time Attack, are you guys planning on taking on Tarzan Yamada and the Cyber Evo?

One quick ? to AMS.

Did you guys cut out the extra steel that is sandwiched inbetween the B-pillars? It removes about 40 pounds from the wrx (unsure about the exact weight for the EVO). This removes more weight and is cheaper than a carbon roof and is undetectable if that even is an issue.

The car is still at the acid stripper. When it comes back we will be working on removing everything that does not make it fast or sacrifice safety. The area in the b pillar is going to be looked at very closely. There are 4 sheets of steel in places in that area. We are considering intigrating the cage into the b pillar. We have tons of ideas that will all be explored when the car returns.

doesn't that make the metal like really weak so if you lean on it. it can like crumble it?

No, the acid dipping solution is semi mild as far as acid's go. While it will remove some material the amount is pretty minimal. It wont make the metal any more brittle just nanometers thinner.

Gary's car is close but Ill leave all updates to him

As far as Tattoo is concerned she will be a full blown race car. Honestly The first we have built to this level. We are really trying to show off what this shop is capable of with this car.
