Ams Drag Car

ok ok

so we know that the car is running 55 lbs of boost and we know that you guys made a ton of changes

but the question still remains,

who exactly has the highest hp evo

AMS or Buschur

If you can tell us yet, what numbers is the drag car putting down now

They compare on completely different dynos. So those numbers cannot be compared. Although for the moment Buschur has the highest trap speed which can equate to highest horse power.

If they went on the same dyno at the same time (which would be interesting lol) that would be the best way. But that isn't going to happen

Just do derail your theory.....

if you are going off the fact that buschur has highest trap means more power would that not equate to best et as well.......

Something in that just does not make sense, either that or I am a complete moron....

I mean AMS ran there 8.56 at 940 whp.....

It would be awesome to see both cars go side by side......

that would be awesome...

I guess the point is we all want to know what AMS is now puttin to wheels in that beast

Martin and David are both good enough where if they knew numbers and what dyno they could figure it out......

I think AMS took the highest trap record at the shootout.

Also, having a higher trap does not neccesarily mean you'll have the best e.t.

MPH trap= Power the car is making.
E.T.= How well you can drive the car. (60', shifting, etc.)

and you need to compare the weight of the 2 cars if you are gonna compare the power of them.

many other factors are involved in this, not just power

I don't care they are the two fastest EVO's around. I would wager that AMS's is lighter due to the doors, roof, and CF driveshaft that Buschur's car doesn't have. I would bet they are within 50 of each other and at their power levels it could be air, humidity, traction, making all the difference.

Totally agree, things cannot be measured with just one varible when it takes several varibles combos to make that MPH going down the 1320.

Why not just ask for the weight of their cars and use a moroso calculator.

Tires, gearing, air quality, elevation, wind all matter the difference in power between the two is negligible.

Trap speed can be based on a bunch of different things. Weight, aerodynamics, HP, The run itself etc etc.

Ours and buschurs cars are very close in HP, otherwise we would not be at each others necks every run.

To put it to bed. Our car just made 1050WHP before shootout. We are making some small changes and taking it back to the track soon. We were never able to put together a pass at shootout like we did on the 8.56 run. Had we been able to do that the ET record would of fallen as well.

Stay tuned as the AMS drag car is not put away for the season just yet

Eric
