AMS GT35R Install Pic

Anyone have a pic of their GT35R kit where the inlet piping to the turbo clears the slim radiator fan?

Reason I ask, I'm currently running the AMS 50 trim kit with 3" intake, and I'm struggling to see how a 4" intake is going to clear the fan. I've got a GT35R I'm dying to get on the car, just trying to figure out the plumbing I'll need to make it fit.

Another question for AMS.... I thought I saw in a previous thread you have a different UICP for the AMS intake manifold (which I'm also running) since it's throttle body location is different than stock, but I can't find it listed on your website. Do you sell an UICP specifically for the AMS intake manifold?

Here's a pic of my 50 trim 3" inlet clearance and fan. Just can't see how a 4" is going to fit.

stock is on that side unless the kit moves the fan to other side.

it's not a 35R, it's a 50 trim.

no, the 35R and the 50 trim use the exact same header, and are therefore located in the same spot.

I think so to, the 50 trim has a 3" inlet, and a 3" inlet pipe. The 35R has a 4" inlet, and I think it comes with a 4" pipe. Hence the point of the thread.

no, if the fan was on the other side, it would get melted by the header.

are you using a 4x3 reducer on the turbo inlet? That's what it looks like in the attached photos. I'm trying to avoid that, but if you had to do it for clearance reasons, that's the type of information I'm looking for. Thanks for the help!

That fan looks huge compared to what I'm used to using here. Regardless it looks like you have the fan mounted way up on the rad, can you move it down some or use a smaller one?

Looked at the pics above again. See how he has it down on the bottom, intake clears largest part of fan.

ah... good catch! I have the complete 50 trim kit from AMS, and the fan they supplied with my kit measures close to 12" for the fan itself, and the mounting points are close to 14" top to bottom. The radiator only measures 15" top to bottom. I can't move it down anymore, it's already resting on the lower end tank.

Did AMS supply a different fan for the GT35R vs. the 50 trim kit?
