The AMS Genesis coupe is HERE!!! Let the modding BEGIN!!!
When is the R-spec supposed to be released? All I can find is mid summer..
Any info on the curb weight? I can't see missing any of those features besides perhaps the HID's - but I imagine retrofitting won't be too hard.
Also, disappointingly - the car seems to have a reasonably hard time making HP with bolt ons, and as far as I can tell can't shed huge amounts of weight that easily. Spare + jack + tires + battery kit = 100lbs maybe and you're pretty much done.
Still, for a 23k daily driver that can get 30+mpg.. it's something i'm considering. I've heard that inventory is difficult to source, which is interesting in this economy.
Any comments on ride quality or interior road noise? I read about the wind management. I'll probably end up going to test drive one, but i'd like to hold out for the R-spec if it's not going to be months.

I don't want to go off topic but do you guys (AMS) have any input on the 3.8 coupe? I drove one today and it was a freakin' blast. It was a ton of fun, ran great and sounded really really nice.
it isnt a 4b11 powered car...

sorry for the lack of updates guys. We all have been burning the midnight oil getting TA-X ready for willow springs this weekend. Once Ivan gets some free time he will hop back in here and update everyone on what he has been up to
