AMS EVO X Downpipes Progress!!!

We know there are a few people waiting for the downpipes to be available again so we thought we would share some pictures of the progress of these downpipes. We are expecting them to be back in stock by the end of the month!!!

^Because its a valid question. You have right to know where a product is manufactured...unless you're getting it for free and that certainly isn't the case.

We have an outside company manufacture these for us. To have an in-house foundry would be pretty expensive and require a much larger facility than we currently have.

Unfortunately there are not enough people who want external dumps. There is alot of money invested in tooling and molds and to make another down pipe just wouldn't be very cost effective for anyone.

We actually use a few US based casting companies. It took us the better portion of two years to source ones that we feel fit out standards of quality. It is for this reason we keep their information confidential and proprietary. I do hope you understand.

over on evox i would say maybe half the people are running external dumps. And here in vabeach, i know 3 or 4 x owners, and they all have external dumps. i know i do.

why re-invent the wheel if a couple other shops have already done it? i think AMS is the only company to have a bellmouth down pipe/ o2 available for the x...
