Yes, last season one of the biggest issues was boost leaks and the piping getting damaged during the races. That definitely would cause a loss of power and prevent the car from finishing the race or push it back a few spots. With the piping on top, there is a far less chance that it can be damaged.

I heard they're thinking about paving Pikes Peak. That'll either be real cool, or real dissapointing. Pikes Peak is a fun place after you rehydrate yourself A very fun place for an Evo
