I'm planning to buy XXR 550 rims for my 2015 Lancer SE 2015 limited edition AWC, but I'm kinda worried about the size of the rims that will fit my vehicle. I'm looking to buy a 18x8.75 with +36 offset just wondering if it will fit with my lancer without any modification like fender rolling or changing coils? Need help please. Thanks!

 

No, i bought a set of AVID.1 AV 21's for my lancer and they are 18x8 with +35 offset, they fit the car well in the front no rubbing issues or turn in problems with the steering but the back really likes to rub especially when hitting hard bumps or when the car is full of people it will rub bad taking sharp turns. there is a small lip on the inside of your fender well that cannot be rolled due to it being double walled, take an angle grinder and alittle skilled elbow greece and shave the inside of the rear fenders if you plan to get wider wheels. or another option is to get a smaller tire size and stretch them a bit to avoid rubbing. As for 8.75 wide they will not fit without heavier modification. you might be able to squeeze 8.5 with a +45 offset and stretched tire. XXR makes excellent wheels at a fair price the 527's and 531's are also a good option they offer them in 18x8. goodluck!
