2017 ES AWC - Intermittent AC Issue

Kinda weird. AC works great when idling below around 1.5RPM. Start driving and the AC stops and the AC light starts flashing. I had one of the guys at work (HVAC Company) pull all the gas out and measure it. Perfect, no leaks. Pull all new gas back it. Same issue. To make sure the compressor works we let it idle in park for 20min. Full AC and very cold. Start driving down the road and it stops after 1-2min, park the car and some times it will start working, other times shutting the car down for 1 min then start and working again at idling. I've read it's a gate valve / vacuum issue or AC Clutch speed sensor? Anyone else see this?

Thanks

There is likely a thermistor that is inside of the evap core. If this reaches a freezing temperature, it will turn off the AC. You may be able to "fool" the ECU by substituting a happy resistance and see if it continues to run. If this is the case- you will just need to change the thermistor.
