Well after several failed attempts to find a nice RS4 and almost buying a wrecked one, I decided to buy a new 2010 S4. Yes its a 3.0 supercharged. They are rated at 333 but lay down 320whp LOL... The car is surprisingly fast stock and of course I have a mod path already. This car is going to be a sleeper and will be tracked regularly. I did a track day last weekend and drove a few Audi's and a 2010 GT3. I absolutely fell in love with the quattro I'd love to do another gallardo or GT3, but I need 4 doors for a while

Nice choice, I think that the new S4 is the nicest version since the B5.

What do you have planned? Have any American companies started tuning the new Audi 3.0? What other aftermarket support is available?

I'm curious because my father just ordered a Red 2010 S4 6-Speed manual w/ the upgraded rear differential and a bunch of other goodies.

What other cars did you consider during this process and why did you rule them out? Looks like you thought this one out. I'm sure you also learned a ton from building a 9-second-flat Evo last year.

Yeah, its been torture. The cars I considered were Gallardo, GT3, CLK BS, C63, M3, RS4 and the S4. It really came down to a 4 door because I need it for practicality for a few years with my new son. That ruled out the Gallardo, BS, and GT3. The C63 is just stupid money and mods are ridiculous. Headers alone are $6k and exhaust is another $3500. So $10K for an exhaust system is ludicrous. Leaving me with the RS4 or S4. I initially wanted the S4 but couldnt find one loaded the way I wanted and order wait time was 3-4 months. Patience is not one of my strong points I decided on the RS4. I even almost bought Graham Rahals Glut Orange one. But decided I wanted a more subtle black one. Everyone I looked at was beat up or had issues. I did find one that appeared perfect. My dealer was going to purchase the car for me and CPO it even though it was a private seller. Went to the dealer with cash in hand and during the deal we find out through carfax that is was rear ended. I was like "WTF". The dealer then said just get an S4. I told them to find me one. They just happened to have my exact build coming in two weeks. So I paid for it and thats how it went down... With Audi loyalty I paid way under invoice which is awesome.

There are several tuners but AWE, APR, and Stassis are among the top. The mod path planned is set up for sleeper and road course. I am planning on running the AWE exhaust and a set of Bilstein PSS10 coilovers(possibly Stassis Ohlins). And an ecu flash from either will net similar results. None are currently available but all are almost ready to be released. Sway bars will be H&R which are available. Brake kit will be added also. Not sure on wheels yet. Looking for something light obviously.

I am getting excited to get it on the dyno. These cars are laying out impressive stock numbers. The car will make 400whp modded no problem. That coupled with the Quattro and Sports rear diff system will make this car very impressive on the street and track... I'll try to post all the results and will do in car vids at the track. My buddy sold his TT Mustang and bought a 335i to do track days with me, so it will be fun.
