Finally after eight months of me breaking my car off an on it runs great
We finished up on Saturday/Sunday at 2:00am. I took it for a test run by myself and for the first time in my life, I scared myself. I know there are many fast cars out here that are a million times faster than mine, but my car is running quick for a stock turbo. Honestly, I don't understand. I lied, I know why. It's because of the mad skills of GEORGE and DOUG at BOOST SOLUTIONS. They do know how to tune. I would post my A/F graph, but it's easier to do this:
__________________________________________________ ______________
That is exactly what it looks like. 11.3 at wot flat. It doesn't so much as dip up or down at all. That is called PERFECT tuning. I truelly can't wait till I dyno. It's happening in July gentlemen so don't pressure me.
George,
Thankyou for all the parts and help.
Without your help I would be trotting around on my feet.
Doug,
You know you're the man. You have more than proved yourself to me on your capabilities. Thankyou for all your help and teaching me as you went. I had a great time in Atlanta for those ten days.
Yankonia,
Since you've been on time you are therefore promoted to Private First Class on 14 JUN 04 with a date of rank of 14 JUN 04. You will be eligible for promotion to Specialist with a waiver in six months. Congratulations
THANKYOU VERY MUCH BOOST SOLUTIONS

I forgot to mention what was don to my car this time:
1. New pistons and rods
2. Piston rings and rod bearings
3. Arp head stud bolts and rod bolts
4. Rehoned cylinder walls
5. Basically a complete engine rebuild
6. Tomei Cam gears
7. Cusco catch can
8. Defi heads up display - This is pimp
9. Retunning of course
I now have a brand new engine and then some. The engine runs so good I can't believe it. 0.8 bar on vaccum. I never saw that before. I also have my two-step launch set up for 7lbs off the line at 4500rpm. This works great
Once again, thankyou very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you read my post entirely you will read that I am dynoing in July and I will personally email the chart to you first since you are so anxious. Better yet, you can watch me dyno so there is no question in your mind of Boost Solution capabilities. I'll keep you informed so please be patient.
Doug,
Post those datalogs please. Thanks!

Where are you dynoing the car?
Also, a static A:F isn't a representation of tuning perfection, as there are definitely areas in the curve where you're leaving power on the table and that you could very safely go leaner. True good tuning is an art of manipulating air:fuel, boost, and timing to procure the best results without inducing any knock. While I think that a 11.3 is very safe, I'll bet there's room for improvement in spots. Drive around on that map for awhile and have George fine tune it when you put it on the dyno. If you like the car now, it will only be better when you get rid of that unilaterally conservative air:fuel line.

Why was all of this replaced? Sounds like a blow motor.

The receipe for power is air+spark+fuel. If one thing is missing, or off, the car will not perform to its full potential. Getting the air fuel ratio perfect, adding the spark ( timing) and raising the boost will be your ticket for the most power. The timing values should be as high as possible, without causing ANY knock at ANY temp levels. The boost should be as high as possible too without causing knock, or inefficianct of the turbo.

Ryan,
You are such a genious
Guess what though, it's not broken anymore mr. my clutch slips, my 4th gear grinds. You try to jump all over me every cahnce you get. If you knew me you would know that I say it like it is. Yes, I broke a piston skirt which resulted in an engine rebuild. Yes, it is now fixed and built even stronger than stock so yippy for me
I guess I'll call you Captain obvious
I really can't wait to dyno.
George,
When I said retunning, I meant touching up because we put the cam gears on. Easy cheetah! You know I love you ask Ryan
