Doug the Dynoking!!!!
Today in Houston Doug dynoed hid car on a all-wheel Dyno-Jet and it went very well. I received this info over the phone so bare with me please. Doug is on his way home to ATL as we speak and he will post everything ASAP. His first run was low boost at 10psi. He dynoed 292whp. He then cranked up the boost and ran 394whp 274ft lbs tq. This was with 118 octane c16 race fuel. The stock evo runs 220whp on the same dyno so that is a very large increase of power for a stock turbo and noooooooooo nitrious. Vishnu's Stage 1+ best was 330whp so those that believe that the EMS is an overkill might want to think again. I'm not putting down the Vishnu stuff as it is very inexpensive, but if you want more power you need the EMS. The dyno proves that. Vishnu Stage 1+ does have cams and all the other goodies that we have. Doug doesn't have cam gears yet so actually he has less. As soon as Boost Solutions gets their hole dug there will be a lot of consistancy on runs. We will show everyone. Doug ran conservative A/F today 11.3 with 115 air temp. It's hot in Texas. I'm very happy for Doug and Boost Solutions accomplishments lately. First Commerce now this. Don't doubt Boost Solutions. You'll just be putting your foot in your mouth if you do. We have charts and slips. Let's just learn from eachother.

Good but torque isn't that high
The Vishnu Stage 1+ did 356WHP with 319 pounds of torque for SCC EVO Orgy on a Dynojet. Not everyone can afford AEM EMS and it is only as good as the tunner. I would expect a car with that amount of money and tunning to make that kind of power. Post the DYNO sheet when you have a chance.

Like I said the conversation was by phone so when he gets back he'll post. Doug has 272/272 for top end so that might explain the low torque. Give me a chance to get mine on the Dynojet to see what's up.

here is my dyno run, runs was made on race gas with a very safe afr of 11.5 Also notice how nice and flat my afr is
I feel the car has some more in it but I just wasn't willing to push the limits that far away from home. On this same dyno a stock evo dyno'd 220 whp and when shiv was there his stage 1+ were dyno'n around 335whp. (not braging just using for comparison.) Car pulls like mad and never falls off hp stays up on top and if I am not mistaken looks like my torque stays up alot more on top end than most other dynos sheets I have seen. I was just wondering who has the most horsepower on stock turbo now... I should be close if not the highest I believe.

Some of the stage 1+ cars on the west coast have put down 310-315whp on race gas on a Shiv's Dyno Dynamics dyno. That's around 360-370whp in dynojet numbers with a conservative 1.17% adjustment. Matt, you really like to open your gigantor pie hole and puke your half-studied uncooked data on the internet. Why would I want to pay triple the price of an XEDE for an EMS? So my car will be hard to start but still have the exact same power if its tuned with the same targets for A:F, boost, timing? No thanks. I can make a lot more power than an EMS by spending the same money more wisely. On the stock turbo, the EMS is a waste of money.
The most important part you're leaving out is the fact that this car (who admittedly is making really good power on a dynojet) has more mods than a stage 1+ car. Does it have upgraded injectors? An upgraded intercooler? How much boost? Start comparing apples to apples instead of sprinkling cinnamon on your apple and saying its a bit tastier. Well no crap!
Why attack the Vishnu camp? So you guys can rice rac.... err, I mean street race and claim superiority with your upgraded clutches and extra mods? Maybe you should upgrade your radar detectors instead of your clutches.. Or better yet: Take it to the dragstrip. I've learned this the hard way in the past, and so have some of the ATL guys, so maybe we'll all use the dragstrip for bragging rights.
Beat a 12.1@114 (IE Evo's Stage 1+ time) with the stock IC, clutch, and injectors without nitrous but use an EMS instead of an XEDE. In other words, stop the typical Boost Solutions hype puke talk and compare mod to mod with your so called superior EMS and stop adding crap which makes it unfair. It is very obvious to everyone who reads these threads that you guys spent a lot more money for the output you have. You guys win one thing: You have great weight reduction from a lighter wallet!

There aren't a lot of threads and replies on this forum for a reason: People want results, not endless hype. Participate in a well known track/drag event and get in a couple of serious magazines. Take that car to the strip and beat Buschur's EMS time on the stock turbo of 11.6x. THEN people will take your shop seriously. On a side note, that would require you to produce tuning as well as Tym's, though, and I don't think its going to happen.

Noize, I think this thread was really more about Doug's results than any AEM/BoostSol vs. XEDE/Vishnu comparison.
That being said ... not to hijack, but I would be curious to see the full list of mods and octane of gas used on Doug's car and also the Vishnu-tuned S1+ car Matt mentioned. I would frankly be pretty surprised if the AEM gave a clean 50whp over a XEDE, all things being equal, so if someone could post or PM that info it would be educational.

Noize, this wasn't an attack on Vishnu. It was about Doug's dyno results. I don't no that much at all about the Vishnu stuff or claim to. I admit that we do spend more money than yall as I already posted. Ryan challenged us to beat his time, we did. Ryan challenged us to beat him on the dyno, Doug did (I still haven't dynoed) and he had more power. This challenge wasn't about mods then, it was about Boost Solutions tuning capabilities. If you look at the chart, you can plainly see the beauty. Everytime so far that we've been challenged whether on the track or at the dyno we came out on top. People dogged us in the begining and now it's "You guys have more mods." I wasn't even trying to be cocky when I posted Doug's results. I was simply happy for him and the shop. A few people have made comments that Boost Solutions can't tune and I always begged to differ and stood my ground. They take care of their customers and tune very well. We've been challenged a few times now so how about this. Bulid a Vishnu EVO with the intercooler, cams, injectors,etc.. Keep the stock turbo and put it up against our cars(doug and I) the same day at the same place whether it's the dyno or track. I am very busy with the ARMY as I am due to go back to Iraq soon so give me some advance notice please. Once again, I realize that Vishnu is a good system and is much cheaper in price, but lets see which system makes more power and who runs better times with the same mods. Ryan recently said that he too wants a standalone and will keep the Vishnu for emissions so obviously we aren't the only ones who see the light when it comes to A/F management. This is not to be taken personal. Let's have fun with this and get a final determination on which systems is best. Obviously, I am certain that EMS tuned EVOs will come out on top, but for now that is just an opinion isn't it?
