Suffering from a severe case of Whiplash as result of Doug's car!

In case you need a definition

whip·lash Pronunciation: 'hwip-"lash
n.

1: an injury to the neck resulting from rapid acceleration or deceleration

So I went up to Boost Solutions and got a ride in Dougs car

Doug did three shifts and each one chirped the tires. It felt like he launcehed at 6000RPMs three times in a row

392WHP and 374TQ will give you an adrenline rush. Not bad for stock turbo Doug believes he can get more out stock turbo since he hasn't pushed car to it limits yet and he plans on bigger turbo. To be honest he doesn't need to introduce LAG from a bigger turbo since his car is pulling like crazy

400WHP with very little lag and 11 second car is what most people would be happy to have

*Also Doug installed my cam gears based on what VISHNU told George which was to set it to -5. The problem was he was not told to retard the cam gears one tooth plus -5 for total -12.5 which is what VISHNU does. Not big deal now since my car was fixed and I now have 310WHP.

Peace,
Snoop

261.8 (on DD) *1.18= 309WHP on the Dynojet.

Snoop, glad you liked it

Also, I am glad that you posted the cam gear issue, so people should know about the cam gears...

Were the cam gears lined up to the "0" mark or the tooth with the red dot on it as we recommend? Lined up to the red dot, the cam gears are set to -5.

Fidanza Cam gears were used not VISHNU cam gears. When George called he was told -5 but wasn't infromed if it was not VISHNU cam gears how to set them up by retarding a tooth. No big deal since my cam gears are correct now and my car is running great

They were Fidanza cam gears.

Shiv ,

what is the reason to retard the cam gears that much? All topend?

If you got Fidanza cam gears which were designed for an EVO, you want to retard them just 5 degrees, not 12.5. Same with ours gears.

The only differences with our gears is that you align the gears themself to the cam cover marks with the red dot, not the zero mark.
