Vibrating wheel?
Vibrating wheel?
Have any of you guys had trouble with the wheel vibrating like crazy when going over 100 Km/h? The dealership says it is due to dirt, but I got all my tires clean, switched the front with the rear, and checked for any damage but it is perfect. If any one has had this problem please help?!?!?
It could be Dirt in the inner wheel. Most of the time the wheel and tire is out of balance.
I would check the wheel lugs to make sure they are tight
Then take it in to get balanced and cleaned.

i believe this was already answered but i'm responding anyways because i haven't written anything at this forum in like a year, so how is everyeone?
u get vibratiosn either because:
a) your rims are dented due to too many potholes (like mine)
b) your rims weren't balanced properly when purchased, not balanced at all, or the weights attached on them fell off to excessive denting.
c) on a more serious note, its possible that your axle got twisted or dented and is no longer straight.
d) sometimes when you change rims, or change shock absorbers, or add lowering springs, or simply by adding/changing a strutbar (or anything that involves you to remove the factory tightened shockabsorber bolts under the hood, u may accidentally bolt it back on at a crappy angle.
i had the same problem, it turned out that i had some "toe-in" action going on when i added my tein super streets. i fixed it, but now i hit so many pot holes here in montreal that my rims got dented and it starts vibrating at 70-80km/h.
hope this helps.
