i heard the same thing.....there would a yellow evo 8 across canada for display purposes. to get everyone hyped for the release next year. but 65,000. your could get a JDM evo VII from evolution imports and import it to canada and have the ultimate jdm evo.

I got a friend to phone a mitsubishi dealership in kitchener and the dealership said they could get the evo for 35-40k without tax

Evo8 in B.C.??? Damn..wish there was one in ontario....but looks like there will never be one...since the intercooler is in the front...is something about the crash test that made it "unsafe" here. Not up to the safety standards. At least we'll soon be getting the Ralli-art edition of the Lancer 160hp. but for an extra 10,000 or 15,000. Hope that's accurate...but if it raises any questions I could look into it.

162HP and dramatic other improvments (most notably suspension and brakes) for only 5kCDN$ more...

Since when were EVO's twin turbo. Some idiots have to get it right. Its a twin-scroll single turbo.

I'm on vacation in Toronto with my Evo right now. One would think we were movie stars with all the attention we were getting. My girlfriend was driving and a car full of happy asians pulled by and started waving at us frantically. It was definitely a surreal experience. I highly recommend any evo owners to take their car to a major canadian city someday. Oh, and Toronto is pretty great as well
