Without the tools = Car > me

I've spend about an hour trying to do a few SMALL mods .. but i failed at both.

#1. Trying to change my license plate light (the Screws are all messed up and i cannot get it off! I need some sort of rod that would help me melt away the stupid plastic protector)!

#2. Trying to mount my front strut bar .. the bolts are torqued to a point that even with a hammer, i couldn't loosen it.. .

If i had the tools, this would be a 5 minute install but NOoo ughh .. Anyone have tools and could maybe lend me a hand here, i'm struggling .

You should never use a hammer to loosen a nut or bolt Get a long pipe and put your driver in the end...the longer length gives you a huge amount of torque and allows you to be superman untorqueing those bolts.

For the bolt try heat it will expand the metal breaking the seam (not sure to use it or not). You can try tighting and lossening it till it moves but I think using a longer tube will help the most. Try a metal pipe.

the strut tower bolts shouldn’t be that hard to remove…think about using a little WD40
