so i was driving on the 403 today on my way to hamilton to run out some 87octane gas and visit a friend, and theres always lots of trucks on the 401/403/410, so a rock hit me im like its ok i protected my hood w/ 3m film...i get out of my car and look im like ***KK it hit my windshield and it's CHIPPED my car is less than a month old


does any one know if its covered under warranty? considering its 5 year comprehensive bumper to bumper warranty?

 

i dont think warranty covers broken windshields caused by falling rocks etc.

 

in that case i hope it changes colors or cracks so i get a free one but im sitll lookin thur my warranty book haha hoping to find something haha

mad gay though i dorve a corolla for 4 years not a chip on the windshield and 1 month w/ the lancer and it's chipped...i hate trucks they shud be made illegal when carrying rocks and gravel!

i called a couple places its 40 bucks to get it fixed, i think i'll just leave it for now haha good thing its near the passenger side not my drivers side other wise i'd be really annoyed lol

 

i heard that if you are driving behind a truck that isn’t equipped with proper mudflaps or if it is carrying gravel and some come lose and damage your vehicle…you can take down their license plate / company name and call your insurance…or something like that…
just keep that in mind for next time incase it’s true
