Just say you're interested in switching to them but want to know their policy on modified cars.

I should find out within the next 3 days. Pray for me that I'll be insured. If not, it completely ruins my after winter wish list and I'll probably need to sell off everything to go back to a stock lancer. sucks

Well, insurance did not really inspect my car so I got away with it this time. It's a lesson learned for me. I'm probably going to tell insurance about future mods now. That or drive like a grandma and hope no one hits my car. If my insurance doesn't bump up too much, then I would be able to carry on with my plans for next year. First the red outline has to be redone which is going to be a serious ***** to do. Then next year hopefully its going to look like a whole new whip. Side mounts, leds, cf hoods ftw

I talked to my insurance the other day and they don't even care about mods. Actually I signed up for this thing that is $3 more a month and say I get into an accident and my aftermarket part gets wrecked they will replace it with the same part not the OEM one. example, my K&N intake gets wrecked, they will replace with a K&N not the OEM intake. That is only if the aftermarket part didn't cause the accident though, then they will replace with oem one instead

Sorry, They don't automatically replace the aft mark parts for you. You have to keep reciepts or proof of purchase/ value and they will give you the full value of the parts to replace them and re- install them.
