Went to my local mitsubishi dealer where i bout the car, Sacramento Mitsubishi... and asked about what would viod my warrenty, he told me anything before the maf and after the cat was fine. He said mushroom filter were ok, BOV was ok, turbo timer...good investemt and ok, downpipe...void, reflash void, shortshifter void, any exhast that was after the CAT was okay, I also asked him about hydro locking he said it was a "act of god" and an issue that would have to be taken up with my insurace company. He said some girl had a CAI on a lancer and hydrolocked her engine and her insurance covered it...so check with youre insurance company...was his advice to me. So I am planning on gettin a BOV, turbo timer, and a reflash anyways because they are on sale for $199. Still have not decided if I want the downpipe, I was thinking RMR and a cat delte that has a O2 simulator...I had a Ralli art with no cat and it was very loud. How loud would a EVO be with no cat and a downpipe? For example a cat eliminator and RMR downpipe with stock exhast. I have only had my evo for a week so please dont flame me.

BTW just got my first mod 5% tint on all windows and 50% on the windshield I tried taking pics at night but since my car is black and all the windows are black it did not come out. Any one in sac who is interested in tints give me a PM if you want some info on where to get it done.

appleway in spokane said they wont do anyting period under warrenty that doesn't come from the factory

 

Dealer told me I can put an intake and a Cat-back and wouldn't have a problem with warranty.

I put those 2 mods in at 500 miles then at 4500, my 5th gear went out . Went to the dealer for waranty work.....DENIED !!! Because of those mods.

WTF....Had to fight it with the Rep. and finally gave in and warranteed my 5th gear.

Have 23,500 miles with no issues.

 

5 percent all around and 50 on the front windshield! do you really want a ticket!

 

I dont want one but if I get one its no big deal, I had the same set up on my ralli art for 2 months and never got messed with and i put 5 thousand miles on it. I pull right next to cops they looked at it and then did nothing. I sat next to a motorcycle cop tonight right after i got it. Around here everyone has illeagle tints on their BMW's and Benzo's so I figured WTF?
