New redesigned rrm header

Well here it is finally got my replacement header from RRM - looks like they are sick and tired of replacing customers header due to flex pipe breakdown.

Sorry to hijack your topic, but I have some dumb questions about the RRM headers. I know nothing about exhausts systems...

Can the RRM headers fit on an OEM exhaust line ? Would there be any performances increase with only changing the headers ? Would the sound be different as only the headers are changed ?

Thanks

BLood? No. That was the gasket maker I used on top of the aluminum gasket coz there was fume leaking problem with the rrm header. Hopefully with my new aluminum gasket that I just bought from Mitsu and this new design will solve that problem.

Yes the the RRM header will fit 2008 and 2009 Fed Lancer. Regarding sound, I have the RRM Magnaflow exhaust, with the header the exhaust is quieter, but w/out the header my wife complains how loud my RRM exhaust is. GAIN? according to RRM its all on the top end from 3500 and up RPM. This is a 4-1 header -- unlike 4-2-1 that is better at low end.
