Evo X Overlay

I installed a shark fin today and my evo x overlay... i dont know if my bumper is messed up or the overlay isn't bent enough but the middle of the overlay comes to a point and doesnt stick on the bottom. It kinda pisses me off... otherwise it looks good! I'll post pics tomorow.

i know excatly what u mean.. i got very fustrated with it to... its a ***** to get everything ready for the overlay.. taken out the styerofoam and cutting the holes... Nothing that u will buy will really work well with the overlay.. take it to a body shop where they have the right stuff.. and they will use clamps to make sure it holds.. mine stuck out on the bottom to.. but unless u let a real body shop do it. its gonna look like ****.

like i said... i dont like how it turned out, the center and to the right it comes to a point because of the curve or something.

dude ,thats nothing hehe you should look at my car, you should prey that your car isnt entirely black. EVERYTHING SHOWS UP haha I wanted to turn the gun on myself after buying this black car. sigh but thats a different debate.

Anyways how did that rinkle come about at the drop off I give it a look over, I didnt super inspect it but I didnt see that. Was it during install?

anyways let me know. Its hard to notice unless you really stare at it. haha i was looking at your picks and going over it and missed it. I am sure so would most people.

Second I think it can be fixed if you wanted to really go all out and go nuclear. Heating up the plastic to remove the ripple is possible but you would have to cast a new paint job on it since I am sure it would warp the current surfaces color slightly.

Anyways let me know,

ya, no it was fine when i got it, its just not the same bend as my bumper so when i pushed the two sides down the middle bent slightly outwards making a point. and ya its not too noticeable but enough to bother me lol

I think i may want to do something about it... if heating it would help (but i hope i can do it without taking the thing off lol.
