Hey guys... I'm having alot of trouble with paint. especially with my grill outline (the top piece) it chips like a ***** and I dont know what's wrong. I've been using krylon (flat black) and putting on multiple coats, I'm just wondering what better paint there is that is long lasting and has a nice clean smooth finish meant for outside use.

 

did you sand and primer first before you painted?

 

ya i did... maybe I just need to sand more?

 

You may want to try a clear bra.

 

i have the same problem but i just dont care anymore ill paint it when it chips ill paint it again. luckily the brand new lancer sportback has that piece come black stockor from atleast what i saw on the commercial. looking into getting it let you know the price when i find out.

yea i think one day i'll just get too tired of painting it and get the DE grille
