I highly suggest TD Insurance.

I went from $2700 to $1760 a year by switching from Dominion to TD.

22, a speeding ticket, and $167 a month on an Evo IX with $1000 All-perils & accident forgiveness.

Goodluck guys!

ZB.

reviving this old thread! my policy is expiring and it's time to go shopping.

Curious to hear what people are paying for their Evo in Toronto. Anyone?

Age: 32
Model: GSR
Location: Downtown Toronto (M6K)
Company: Wawanesa
Yearly: $3018
Monthly: $252
Record: CLEAN. No accidents or tickets, or claims of any kind.
Options: Loss of use, Comp, Collision, Multi-line discount.

Let me know what I should expect to get out there.

Cheers

well im out in alberta, so to give you some perspective from out west. my last car was a jetta, and i payed $2600 a year on state farm. admittedly i have 4 speeding tickets in the last 3 years and 1 not at fault accident 7 years ago, so they were really trying to take me to the cleaners. now with an 08 MR i pay $2400 a year for full coverage through TD. so my advice, get the **** away from state farm.
also check where you work to see if they have any affiliation with an insurance company, i got mine because i worked at Bell, which offered 50% off through TD

edit:
also im only 22

Same here. I switched from State Farm to TD meloche monnex and saved 100$ a month instantly.
I pay 210$ a month. 2011 Ralliart. 1 at fault accident and I do get multiple car discount and home insurance discount. Also, I get some sort of professional discount because I went to local university.

ya everywhere else quoted me 5k+ a year, so it was an easy decision. TD gave wicked discounts

I am over 30, I pay 1700/year for full coverage. It cost me more for his car than my STi, anyways I'm through Auvi insurance ( broker) they are great to deal with, intact is the policy holder.

You're paying quite a high amount given your age and record. I know a few guys with GSR's in Toronto that are paying around $175 in their late 20's with clean records (TD, Allstate). Also I know a guy around your age with a 911 paying less than your evo, which is odd.

Also for the guys from QC, those are some crazy low prices you're paying. I've been paying $150 ish for a while in QC and I thought it was low, until now.

I do realize this now!!! The Evo is about the same insurance wise as my 2010 Ralliart and both the RA and Evo cost less than my 2009 GTS... go figure!
