Welcome back, as for English Racing Tune i don't mind driving down for a tune once i get my stuff installed. Aaron @ English is awsome my buddies down in WA got tuned from English and their cars were fast!

One thing bad about the place its too far from where we live....its not far far but its considered far enough!

English Racing tuned my car and we put down 315awhp, Aaron is very very good at what he does, very pleased with him. I am tuned for my current setup, which is very basic. I am due to go down again once my cams/fmic/intake/turbo/injectors go in over the winter, so maybe we'll do another trip in the spring.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Our gas and American 92ethanol are two very different gasolines. There's no way you'll make it to ER on a tank, and you don't want to show up with American gas in your tank. To make the most of your trip, bring jerrry cans full of Chevron 94, and get tuned for that, trust me. Cause when you are running low at Mission one day, and you pop out for gas, that's the best stuff you are going to find.

Oh, and take pics! (and try and behave yourself on the way back, that was tough for me....)

I used a perrin dp, megan 02 housing, k&n panel filter, test pipe, 255 pump, ams mbc, and an aem wideband. About 800 bux worth of stuff. Done and done. 4g63's rock, I have the dynosheet to prove it.

can you put up a sheet? i like to see what the curves look like.

im really torn on the test pipe : / i really like how quiet the car is with a high flow cat......its probably worth the gains to get that taken out. *actually the test pipe will throw a CEL lol, i'll need a tuner to cancel to block the code*

also 10.5 hotside or stock evo8 turbo?

You can also put a resister in the connection to fool the computer. I did it in my old car, worked awesome.

blah, the CEL defeat is much easier lol. i'll just wait til near tune time. its near impossible to find resistors where i am, i walk up to a radio shack (the source) and they have no clue what i am talking about.

i had to scramble like mad to find a resistor for my SRS airbags when i replaced my stock wrx seat to the Ver 8 JDM STi seats, cus when i brought the car to BC they wouldnt pass my car with an air bag light -_-

i wish flash tuning was as easy as the suby.

Yes, Aaron can defeat the CEL easily. Actually, he set up my car so the CEL acts as a knock display. So if i get a knock count past 4, it flashes at me, very handy. I am running the stock Evo 8 turbo, stock injectors and stock exhaust from the test pipe back. (Totally quiet)
