B.C. evo roll call
If ready, I might be rolling with my close friends.
I think you guys should still roll in with clublancerbc. It'll be great for you guys to get together. We don't want to act all douchebags just because we own an Evo or at least I dont want them to see us like that

Maybe next time I'll roll in with them. Perhaps RS summer meet.
Btw. You guys must as well sign up at clublancerbc.net We can all just chat there and their forum is a bit more active then BCEVO or this canadian forum lol
I sometimes check there once in awhile and there are few of us evo owners on there.

Hey guys.
I've read through the entire thread to see what's going on as far as the evo scene in B.C.
Just today I saw a white on white evo V and then a silver VIII a few seconds later in downtown Vancouver. The former is a bit strange given the 15 year rule but I'm just happy to see a cp9a in Vancouver...I only get to see them when back in Trinidad.
I moved to Vancouver a couple years ago from New York but I'm originally from Trinidad & Tobago. I've been into evo's for a long time and tune them via ecuflash as a hobby. I've been keeping myself active by tuning my buddy's VIII who lives in Richmond. Here are some pics of it I took a few months ago:

I got drivehard to wire a UEGO directly into ecu pin 75 to log AFR directly in evoscan without the use of a serial cable. Last tune I did had the car running with 1-2 counts of arbitrary knock. Looking forward to the future of this car.
I'm looking to buy an evo in the near future. My budget is about 20-25K...I'd like a low mileage TB IX SE or GSR...5 speed only. I'd much prefer to avoid the hassle of importing from the US as I simply don't have the time with my work schedule. I know it's unlikely I'll find one in B.C. given my constraints. However, from what I've gathered in this thread: one or two people have gone through LP Auto....any info on them and the process? Any other businesses I can check out for brining in one from the US hassle free?

Thanks! Picked her up today
GG IX SE with 42,000 miles. Here's a temp iPhone pic until I can whip out my SLR:

I'm the 3rd owner. Basically stock but it has a Perrin intake pipe mix matched with a K&N filter, HKS 272/272 cams, and a BBK full. This is having spoken to the original owner in the US. The ECU was locked when I first tried to reflash the car but I used the active matrix unlocker and it did the trick. I have a feeling the car is running stock boost but there's no way to tell until I get either the omni 3 bar map installed and logged or a boost gauge.
She came with an extra set of tires (winter), a cobb accessport and a couple pro sport gauges uninstalled and I don't have any plans to use them. I already have parts setting down, just need a good quality mechanic to do the work. Let me know of you guys recommend anyone in or around the lower mainland. I see most of the shops look to be located on the same street in Richmond but haven't lived here long enough to know who to trust.
