I'm currently between rigs(right, Alberta oil) so will be around.
Aaaaannnnddd I got a couple 'o bucks to spend on apparently fuel pump.
Have been through the modding for dummies and 100 bucks at a time threads lots and blah blah blah. Of course this all leads to more questions.
THANKS FOR SAYING SPRING RATES!!! Blargh. Had barely gone down that road. lol
So yeah. I dunno. Mostly?
As it's going to be asked "what are your goals?" I'll mention.
350whp/tq seems reasonable for a start.
And a little handling better-i-ness. Though that may just be wheels.
Lotsa questions about track events. Not dragging though, not my bag.
Dont think that way.
I mean, I was pretty noob at first and didnt understand alot of things but after years of researching and studying, I'm pretty decent.
Some of us just really loves to talk about and only about cars or our evos lol
We would be happy to help you others about their problems and give suggestions.

Yeah do start with a starter up mods like exhausts, test pipe, header, etc
Then work with coilovers and wheels. If you like, you can add some looks for your car. Its really all up to you!
For track events, I know that Brendan and one of our friends, Ray which i dont think he's on this forum as much, goes to track events and race like they're BAUS lol. They would be the guys to talk about for track events

We should set up meet eh...ahahaha
We barely have evo meet because the evo scene kind of died out in vancouver now. they barely come out to meet and nobody would organize the meet. well i could.. lol
I was thinking we could join with clublancerbc's meet since they're more active than the evo owners lol wouldn't hurt to join our lancer family lol

le evo is getting a bit bored... love the car..but modding cars for 10 years is enough for me...

I've been tracking with my bike and it is way more technical and fun!

but yea it kinda died out a bit since recession and prices of JPN parts are getting ridiculously high. I'm sure if someone sets out a meet there will be peeps going to come out just to chill! or you guys can show up to the poser Subby meet on friday nights at Byrne and Marine Timmy Ho's

oh mann i didnt realize this thread got so active lately.
i usually join the revscene guys for their meets and the occasional cruise, but not much anymore since the rain started. we really should do a meet sumtime. =D

for tuning i think only gearheads and racing greed have awd dyno's, i know drivehard isnt AWD, plus they usually send em out so sum other guys for remote tuning. theres also Rev comp which is owned by a mitsu dealership, they do tuning also. but in my opinion...you should jus buy a used access port and run the standard maps until you have all the parts you want installed...then drive down to portland to have cobb tune ur car...then u can sell the accessport for almost just as much money.

I dunno if I wanna go with Cobb cause their support for older Evo's has been discontinued. Evoscan/Ecuflash seems like the way to go. That way as I learn, doing things myself will be easier. I think. Not like I'm going to be able to do anything big soon. I do have shifter bushings ordered. Let's see how long Lancershop takes to deliver.
YES MEET!
Not like I personally have a clue where. Seems like maybe invading another gang and angrily revving at each other and throwing pickles might be fun?

Well when we do meet, we wont be angrily revving at each other and throwing pickles :P
It'll probably be like a meet at one location probably at Timmy or Mcdonald at Market Crossing/Marine Drive. Popular place for meets there. Lot of different clubs are always there.
What we would usually do is just stand around, look at other people's car, chat, grab food/coffee, photoshoot, and if anyone's up for it, we could go for a cruise to cypress or wherever.
I was thinking we could join with the clublancer guys.....Im sure someone might not be up for it because..well they're not evos :P I dont see what's wrong with joining them, I mean, we're all in the same family. They've more active than we are and their organizer always have meet every month. I might join with them for their next meet to check it out for my first time and see how it goes. Anyone can join me if they like

What's wrong with Lancer's? I have an 05RA for my rig rocket! All I have is Lancer's.
So like, they do this when and which website? Also, wouldn't it be cool for 'em to have a bunch of Evo's come prowlin in?

I'm up to join in on their meets if it fits into my schedule, otherwise I could try and drop by. Their community is much more close knit like them Subaru dog packs, while us EVO's are more like loner cats LOL!
