I just bought Gislaved Nordfrost 5s, 245 40 18 for my Evo X. Anyone run them yet?
Paid $265 for them, supposed to be good. I was hoping to put on Hakka 5s , but they don't make that size.
Noticed most people are from BC or TO- anyone from Quebec?

Dude, I have those Nordfrost 5's on one of my other cars. and its great for average snow fall level and especially on ice. But...... one of the biggest downsides of the tire is that its soft compound will burn off very quickly. Dont even think about missing a tire rotation. I went thru my first winter last year, and burnt off 20% to 25% easy. It didnt help that it didnt snow as much as I would have liked in Toronto to save the tread. In Montreal you should be fine. just go easy with the burn outs hehe
I did a review for that tire on my blog I think last year.... let me get the link....
