For the Record

Went to a shop and had some grease monkey take off parts for inspection. Here's the checklist

AEM Intake - Visible
Bored Throttle Body - Check
Bored Manifold - Check
JE Pistons - Check
Clutchmaster clutch - Too much work to get at, but compared it to stock Lancer at Dealership and feels noticably heavier. Salesman told me mine was probably "sticking" and said it should be "serviced"
shaved fly wheel - Check
road//race test pipe - At first we thought it was the stock cat, then after taking it off realized there was a cover welded on.
Greddy Exhaust - Visible
Tien Springs - Visible
Lower sway bars - Still unsure, they look stock, but I have another one in my garage that came with the car. So

Got a call back from the Seller, he said "take it to AMS, ask to see the computer records because all the labour hours put into the car were recorded, also ask to see the original manifold we ****ed up when boring out".

It's all legit!

Won't the JE pistons make ur lancer slower if u don't have a turbo? thought I heard that somewhere... what the point of doing internals with no turbo?

Thats only if they lowerd compression, but if he has some higher compression pistons then it will make more power N/A..

Team OZ CA....... don't think you have to prove anything to anyone...... Everybody was giving you a hard time on your other posts.... so I guess that's why you made this post. There are some good points that people have ....but ultimately it's your choice to do what you want....... I personally like my cars to be sleepers... Unfortunately...I already destroyed that look for my RA when I put the hood scoop in.....

Hey, I wasn't trying to give you a hard time, just wanted you to do what you did, which is to go in and make sure you got what you paid for. Looks like you did, so it's all good. Enjoy the car.
