I believe to the best of my knowledge that the calgary sun carried an article about raceway park open starting next friday for sport compacts and domestics alike. I have no clue as the article was very badly written (like this post) but it was saying open to public.
Anyone else in the area catch wind of this I have tried calling raceway park but the phone is either busy or no-one answers, go figure that.

If this is really happening we should get together and try to have meets on these nights or something, I see alot of lancers driving around, alot with mild modifications but never any meets. Dam even the Spec V guys meet 3 times a month. I was thinking maybe we could organize something productive and enable alot of us to do group buys or share skills which would help us all progress. When I had a DSM alot of us would get together and I can't even tell you the amount of time and money I saved benefiting from a group.
Also if your girlfriends have hot friends it saves me the time from putting in any effort

Summer is almost apon us (wishful thinking) and without my eclispe (bought a lancer) I dont really stand a chance to go to any of the streeet races anymore so this raceway park would be perfect if there was bracket racing.

Anyways this post is long as hell so if anyone knows anything or can think of a good way to get the ball rolling , HOLLA BACK PLAYA (sorry got carried away watching higher learning)

 

Ahhhhh ok I talked to a friend and it seems its the secret street thing they where talking about last year , tech in from 7 to 10 races from 10:30-1 depending on particapents. You need a valid license and a helmet and i think it is around 10-15 bucks to enter. Word is that it will be SS bracket, you can race anyone at anytime as long as the particapents allow. If 3 people show up they cant race all night LOL.

Don't have a start date yet but I think it is next friday, but then again I drank alot this week.
