We all want our money to be well spent, so go vote and make it count. As I said, if you don't vote, you can't complain because you never expressed your opinion when it really counted. Ugh... 62% voter turnout... 38% of this country that doesn't care who controls their lives. Oh well, I guess ignorance is bliss for most.

That's true. It's too bad Canada respects human rights (bah, what the hell is that all about) too much. Australia fines non-voters $20, and they have a 95% turnout. Good idea? Bad idea? Discuss.

 

In the Philippines when we were finally allowed to vote after 20 years of dictatorship, voting is a duty, not just a right. You could go to jail for not voting.

Don't know. We've been lied to many times both Federal and Provincial but Ontario still voted Liberal. But that's the democratic process. Most Ontarians probably think it's not that bad at all.
