So If I were to use the AP and get one of the map (Cobb or Perrin), flash it and the car runs fine.
But If I wanted to go the dealership for something I can flash it back to stock (unmarry it) and they can never tell. The ECU would be back to the original state with no flash count or checksum altering?

How come the Subaru ECU can record the number of flashes on their ecu?

$695 isn't exactly cheap but I know what you mean. Congrats on the purchase.

Would be cool if you post up the dyno
Boost pill was removed. Air/fuel was in the 11's, peak boost of 26 tapering down. Will post dyno plot shortly!

From what the guys at Surgeline Tuning in Portland told me, even if you dont flash your car back to stock before you take it in, it would be very hard for the dealership to see that. Even harder if you did take the 8 min to flash it back to stock. I just went in for my 15000 mile service and didnt bother flashing back to stock. They didn't notice anything

Accessport caused "service vehicle" warning....

Just flashed the ecu last night...drove great after the flash. This morning i fired it up and took it on the road and noticed my power wasnt there anymore and i had a "service vehicle" message on the dash...

Any thoughts? Should i reflash back to stock and then flash to my stage again?

Car is otherwise stock.

Thanks...

pull the code with the ap and post it up for better more specific help.

wait are you talking about the check engine light or the service interval thing?

if it is a yellow check engine light then pull the code.

if it is the service reminder that pops up on the multi info display then just reset it. it is just a reminder that you need to change your oil and what not.
