Question Harmon Motive Intake and Cobb AP questoin

Need some help.... Just purchased a Harmon Motive intake and I am running a Cobb AP.

Does anyone have experience with running the cobb ap and using a harmon motive intake? Which map should I use?

Thanks

Ya use the AMS maps. A few threads out there say to use the Aem maps but it throws your LTFT way off. Make you sure you log some highway cruises and check your LTFT after 30 mins to make sure it's in spec

I installed it yesterday and everything seems to be ok. It spikes to about 26-27 and holds around 20-21 with boost pill removed.

Im not really sure how to data log.

Are you running a TBE? Otherwise you shouldn't have the pill removed.
To data log. Go to monitor in your AP, select set data log list, select basic stuff like rpm, boost, knock count, stft, LTFT and anything else you want to see. Back out and select view live data, select boost pressure. When you're ready to do a pull press the center button and the screen should change to 'logging'. Get several pulls in different gears.
Once you have several logs connect your AP to your pc and copy the logs to your hdd. Open the files and
view with Microsoft excel. You are looking to hit target boost, stay under 1.0 knock count, and a LTFT under +/-3 (should be almost 0). LTFT won't register until for cruise at a constant speed greater than 20mins. This is a very basic approach, I'm still new to the AP. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have an agency TBE. After monitoring the boost before and after I removed the pill, I didn’t really see any change except for when the boost taper down. With the pill it’s around 18-19 and without the pill it around 20-21.

When I get some free time, I will try to get some log data. Thanks for the help

The Cobb SF map would probably be a decent starting point since they both use the stock MAF housing.

Thnx man. That's the map I'm currently running. I've googled about this and really couldn't find any answers.

I really dunno why Cobb doesn't make a map specificly for the typhoon intakes. I woulda thought these intakes are popular enough to have one

I had the Harmon Motive intake on for about 40,000km using the COBB AP AMS Maps and it worked perfectly fine.
