Got a question, I just upload the new Stage2 91 v201 map for my 08 GSR. The map detail says that its intend for stock intake system or K&N INTAKE FILTER ONLY.

So here`s my question, I ordered my kit from Perrin but I always been running the COBB map therefore I never used the Perrin air filter replacement that came with the kit. So since I can now use other air filter than stock with this new map, since the one I have is a perrin and not an K&N, is it ok to use this one or i should just leave the stock one in there??

I have the perrin filter and im running the aem map...its good

 

just try the stock map at first see how your knock and AFR runs and go from there.
