AFR's 08 Evo X Cobb AccessPort Stage 1

Hey guys. I have the injen intake setup and a megan CATback exhaust. Its not a turbo back just after the cats. The stage one map is what Im going to be using seeing as I just ordered my Cobb Accessport for JDM motorsports on these forums. Do you guys know what the Afr numbers are around. I would imagine anything is better then the mid 10's these evos stock tune is at. I was prolly gonna guess like Low 11's like 11.2 or 11.3? Also i see the stage one map is 21% increase of hp. So 297 x .21= 358 hp now? is that true? Thanks guys

Low 11's is probably about right, maybe high 10's or 11-flat since it'll be a fairly safe/conservative OTS map.

Tough to say on the power numbers, but you're somewhere in the ballpark for crank horsepower numbers. Just remember that every car and every setup differ, and the quality of your gasoline also plays a role (along with environmental factors).

Thank you for your quick response. Ummm do you think I could get away with the stage 2 tune or do you advise to stay away from it until I get a aftermarket exhaust manifold and what not? Like a full exhaust system. DO you like your cobb AP? easy to use and safe? Also I only put 93 in my car. I live in NY so we have that luxury.(not really a luxury seeing as we get raped on gas prices but oh well)

Stick to the staged OTS map that is appropriate for your mods. Once you get a testpipe or HFC you'll fit the "Stage 2" qualifications.

My Accessport has been good to me; safe, simple, and reliable.
