Braden did mention recently finding some jewels within the ECU. I think our new target is now pushed towards Halloween

I have already pro tuned 2 or 3 2012s, and numerous 2011s. I dont feel there is any reason to wait for an OTS map that isnt the beta. They are close enough, rich and lower boost, not the best for peak power but still safe. I dont use them as we have our own OTS style map and then I generally do the tune to fine tune per car.

Its still a little jacked up that all the other cars have multiple full maps out all the way up to 2012 and we are still waiting on full maps for 2011. Def. no Evo love going on at cobb.

Cobb seems to prefer Subaru and GT-R applications but I wonder if they are having the same hangups that have been reported in the 2012 Power Variance thread and that's what's taking them a while to complete.

One would just assume that they would complete all the 2011 maps for the cars they support before they move on to the 2012 maps. Pretty sad when 2012 is almost over and we still don't have maps for 2011. Thinking i am going to sell my cobb and go with open source.

The word is there is also some reorganization happening internally. I am sure they will get to it as soon as things settle down.

I'm sure there will be 10 Focus ST maps next for every possible combination under the sun.

Beta maps are out, have been for quite a while, and are proven effective and safe...stop getting so hung up over a word. If it works, who cares what it's called?

I personally am running v3 Stage 4 Poop map...doesn't mean my car ****s itself

Or just get a custom dyno protune.

Yea but the BETA suggests that they are "safe", but not really stood behind by cobb.
