You live within spitting distance of Cobb - Plano, drive over there and get a pro-tune

If you're looking for OTS maps though, they are available, follow the link for beta maps: http://www.cobbtuning.com/AccessPORT..._EVOX_Map_Grid

Looking for official OTS maps - not beta - especially with all the high-knock complaints so far on stock cars.

Won't invest in a protune until the regular OTS maps are worked out - if those aren't final, I'm not exactly confident in the rest.

Thx for the link though.

A protune has nothing to do with OTS maps; it is 100% custom for your car and your setup. Calvin has tuned so many local X's now it's crazy.

The beta OTS maps are safe, they're just looking for feedback from a wider variety of cars than they're able to test in-house. Flash it, log it, you're set. If you want help just let me know. NTEC is having a lunch meet tomorrow and if you want to come we can flash and log your car afterward.

You should go there are other things they look for before giving you a protune. Like boost leak test and other thing before they tune to make sure you have a safe and rewarding tune. Most those talking about knock on stock tune ots maps have not had boost leak tested and or do not know that the knock count of 4 or less is safe or they have other mods then the maps they are using. If you get a protune done they can tune out knock and give you the best tune for you mods and car thats the best way to go. I was using the app and got some knock of 5-8 some times on some maps then went to cobb they leak tested the car and the after mark BOV was leaking that is why I knocked and I thought it was because the maps were beta but that was last year when they really were beta feb march 2011 lol. But cobb tuning is really good and very helpfull. Wish I still had my app.

All - We are still actively working on these updates. There is a LOT involved in making things final and we want to make sure what we provide is going to work with a majority of the vehicles out there. We are digging very deep into this ECU right now for some exciting new discoveries that will make tuning all EvoX/RA vehicles much easier in the future. In the meantime, we'll be pushing out what we've been working on so everyone can play

Thank You,
-Braden @ COBB

When i dropped almost 7 bills on this thing, i was told not to worry, that the final maps would be out in a week or two.. it's been almost 5 months..

Needless to say I feel like i got lied to. Had I known it would've taken this long, I probably would've waited.

My parts are calling out to me....I think Ill just pull the trigger and dish out the mulah for a protune. But I really want to try the OTS maps first and then the protune...its more fun taking time to enjoy each upgrade.

I agree; they're enough people using them already for them to be proven. Run a quick log of boost and knock to ensure you're meeting the targets, and you're good to go.
