2013 gsr Cobb access port
welp looks like ill be selling my AP. i got an evo at a very bad time for cobb FML. first i got a 2011 evo x gsr and had to wait months for beta maps to release, and now i got a 2013 mr and i feel like ill be waiting months before any type of support comes out
Benchflash the ECU to an earlier year, then use the Cobb if you want an AP. All the US ROMs can be superseded by the 2008 (or really any year) which opens up all the OTS stuff. So happens I know someone that benchflashes ECUs
cobb-austin was looking for a 2013 evo, guessing for help with the ots maps. i voulnteered, so we'll see what happens.
EDIT: i got a reply back from COBB, and will be going to their Austin shop for verification tests on the 2013 OTS maps. So they should be coming real soon guys.

Got tired of waiting, and on top of all that, I got an AEM intake which I think they will no longer support...so I read up and now road tuning my car each and every time I have a chance.
Now, my power curve is more linear than the ots map. I plugged in the WOT log from my old ots map and a new log with my tune into virtual dyno, and comparing the two, the OTS map is jagged. It has plateaus at some rpm then jump up.
With my tune, it's just a nice curve...and the best of it all, the boost is at full faster, tapers down a little later and doesn't drop down too much like the OTS maps does.

any recommended tut?
they should be out VERY soon. im driving up this fri to COBB(was supposed to be last fri, but recheduled) to do verification testing on their 2013 maps, meaning they already have them made, im just testing it for them. I will leave there with a stage 1 map for my 2013 gsr as well as a custom tune. Ill update when i get back.
