This is a "just wondering" question but is there really anything different between the 12-13 GSR? I thought Mitsu came out and said they were no longer making Evo's after 12 and if they did it was going to be some kind of diesel hybrid crap. Like I said just trying to keep up with the times and after seeing those #'s I can't wait to get my AP.

Just got a Cobb protune and my tuner was able to get 344whp and 330tq at 24 psi out of my 2013 GSR - only a test pipe and panel filter for mods. What do you guys think?

When you say Cobb protune. This means tuned by a shop then accessed/installed by the accessport? Just curious

it means he got tuned by a shop, in this case COBB. they custom tune, then load that on to the accessport.

Can one expect those numbers from an accessport with a stage 1 map on a stock 13 GSR? That's really awesome.

no, the OTS maps will be on the safer side, with lower #s. just run it until u get parts and get a real tune.

Marshall at Cobb told me today that the bugs has been worked out yesterday. The tune was not the issue. There was a software issue that wouldn't allow the AP to down load the new map onto the 2013 Evo ECU. They apparently spent countless hours getting it worked out so that pairing the Cobb AP to the ECU was no longer an issue.

The new version to down load should be v1.6.7.0-5999 or higher.

that's what I thought but i just got a 2014 evo x gsr. And i'm wondering if there is any difference between the 13 and 14. and still can't find anything that would support my 2014 gsr but can only assume it is the same as the 2013 with Cobb

Each year has subtle differences with their maps. You shouldn't use a 12 map on a 13 or a 13 map on a 14. I would wait until the release the 14 maps, or just go get a protune. If by chance you decide to risk it nd use a 13 map on your 14, let us know how it goes

Yeah I knew there were subtle differences just checking and seeing if anyone has tried it. I know with my mustang we did the same thing with a tune and it turned out to work fine. But thanks for the info. And I'm gonna do it right with my evo so I'm not gonna risk it lol
