Excessive knock will cause your ECU to pull timing. You guys freaking out over a few counts of knock should log a stock X sometime

Hi,

I have tried the new beta version of Tuner Race and I have a question (MR 2008):

After enabling 2 maps on the fly switching, when I turn to #2 alternative map I get an icon of something like "spraying water" flashing randomly in the top left corner of central display on the dashboard. Switching back to #1 makes the icon go off.

Should it work like this? Could the icon be taken out or changed to lighting instead of flashing? It makes me really nervous during driving.

Thanks!

How did you enable it?

Easily - In ATR I prepared the 2 sets of maps and enabled switching vial Cruse control - option #2 under Alternate map master in ATR.

Still can't believe no maps even for 2011 yet, except the "beta" gsr that aren't too great from what I've read. And they released an ap for the focus st already

Is there anything special that needs to be done to use an AEM UGEO with this new feature of the AP being able to log AFR directly?

I have an AEM Wifi UGEO right now in my catted test pipe. Guess that'll get replugged and moved to a location further down?

Do you just remove the OEM narrow band and pop in the wideband? Doesn't that throw a cell or break anything? Any special wiring?

I am a total n00b when it comes to this stuff and will have my shop do it, but just want to gather all pertinant info first.
Thanks.

I'm playing around in the new ATR with switch on the fly maps. Just one question, in the old ATR, there was a fuel calibration tag. But I don't see fuel calibration anymore coz everything got moved and/or consolidated. But there's a tab that looks just like the fuel calibration tab from the old ATR...but now it's called engine volumetric efficeciency...both of those r one and the same right??
