Cobb Stage 2 question

Hey guys....Ok so I've done some searching and came up with nothing concrete, I am sure its been answered before but I couldn't find it. Sorry if its been answered a million times ....two questions....first are there any gains from running stage 2 without a testpipe? I saw somewhere a guy said to run stage 2 with a catback...and is there a downside to running stage 2 with no testpipe??? 2nd question is will the cobb tune compensate for an aftermarket downpipe..like a bellmouth one for example...and is there a benefit of running stage 2 with a downpipe as opposed to without one...Thanks

It is not recommended to run Cobb Stage 2 without a hi-flow cat or test pipe.

Running Cobb Stage 2 with a downpipe or stock downpipe is a coin toss IMO.
FWIW, same tune, same mods , same fuel, it's a dead even race between a car with an aftermarket downpipe vs a stock downpipe. IMO it's only worth it if running a larger turbo.

Cool man you confirmed what I thought but had seen otherwise and wanted to make sure I was on the right side of the thought process...

Stock turbo: Get a 3" downpipe such as Cobb's.
Aftermarket turbo: Get a 3" o2 eliminator downpipe such as MAP's.

Kracka if I plan on going EF2.5 or EF 3 in the next year should I just save my shillings and keep stock downpipe till I'm ready for the upgrade and just do it all at once?
