I got tuned on opensource but going to get an AP and tune from there. Can the SST tables by modified through AP? I havent seen that discussed.

We do not have any direct control over the TCM in the MR. That being said, we do have just over 20 tables that allow you to improve the way the transmission shifts under load. The most important note is that the torque and load values need to be accurate in order for the shifting to be ideal.
