Cobb AP question

Thinking about getting a used Cobb AP off the forums and i know it needs to be unmarried from the previous vehicle, but how do i know for sure if its been unmarried? Is there a log or print out that shows that its been unmarried? If i bought one that wasn't unmarried properly what problem does it pose?

If it's not unmarried you'll have to pay COBB $300 to reset it. They're only $450 brand new with the recent price drop. If you buy used, make sure it's from a trustworthy seller.

Getting ever closer to that 0 price range to compete

Or I guess technically 25 + 175 or whatever.

In all honestly $450 is a lot more appealing and in line for competing with other stuff, props to them for finally dropping it some.

I was surprised that the AP for the Evo X was only 450, on the mazdaspeed it was nearly 600 dollars. I don't know if it was a more difficult ecu to work on, or what.
