Hi,

So I have heard that if you get a 2008 version AP for a 2012, it will not work. Well I found one on craigslist and I want to know weather you can tell by a serial number or something that it was meant for a 2012. I don't want to take the chance of buying it and having it not work.

So is there a way to tell if the version of AP will work with my EVO?

Call Cobb to verify, but I'm pretty sure all AP-MIT-002 Accessports will work with any year X or RA.

I had an AP for an 08 X and I had to send it back to get it unmarried because my car was stolen/totaled and I asked if it would still work with my 11' and they said yes. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work for all the X's then

 

I brought mine from a 08 owner and it is MIT-002. It works on my 2013 Evo X.

 

Yeah I called and they said it WILL work. I dont know who told me before it wouldnt, but thanks for the clarification!
