Help with CobbAP
So I just installed my ETS exhaust w/ test pipe and ETS intake. I just just tried downloading the accesstuner so I could tune my intake but it won't let me. They said the download would be free but on their website it says that you have to be an authorized tuner to download it. Does this mean I have to get it tuned on a dyno? Also, is it safe to drive right now? I need my car to drive to work. I am running the Stage 2 93 octane tune.

You should be able to request the Access Race Tuner download. It should be free, only Access Race Tuner Pro costs money.
As far as the car being safe to drive.. your running a different intake and exhaust than the Stage 2 OTS was calibrated for but it's probably not incredibly far off. Without checking the AFR's with a wideband it's hard to say. The exhaust is probably not that big of a deal at all (3" pipe is pretty much 3" pipe). The intake calibration is certainly more iffy, I would suggest calling Cobb Support and requesting the Access Tuner Race download link and then modifying the map for your intake per the how to on the Cobb site. Driving the car and staying out of boost should be relatively safe but may be too difficult to do. You can add your STFT and LTFT logging and see how far off it is while just cruising around, if it goes out of range of the closed loop system you'll probably throw a CEL. This would indicate that it's pretty far and probably not safe for boost.

Yes you can drive your car, you may be trying to download the wrong thing...I had the same problem the first time. Just run a quick data log and a couple pulls and just look at ur a/f ratios and that should tell ya where your at. If your really worried just stay out of boost until you get the program downloaded correctly and go from there. If you call cobb or email them there usually pretty helpful.

Yes, you can drive to work. If you're worried about it. Keep an eye on the knock count. Email cobb and see if they have a map they can send you. Last I checked, ETS uses the stock maf housing. I'd run the stage 2 sf map and watch the knock. Should be pretty close.

Negative. I don't really want to get a pro tune just yet since I'll do the intercooler upgrade and down pipe in the winter. Which map should I run in the mean time? It drives pretty well, it just runs a little weird at low revs. They fluctuate slightly. I'm on stage 2 93 octane tune right now

I recommend returning the vehicle to stock until you can schedule time with a local tuner"

It knocked 6 times when I hit the fuel cut at 7700 rpm. That's just the stage 2 93 tube. I'll try the Sf. I asked cobb what tune is the safest and they said "You will not be able to safely run any tune without risking engine damage.
