I bought mine VIII to drive and enjoy.
Ive got 211k miles. and plan to roll 1m
All maintenance is kept up on.
Runs like a charm.
No rust either except for the LR door window frame....

I also park it inside from Nov to March due to NY weather.
Ive taken it upon myself to start 3D modeling and printing plastic pieces so that when they break i can replace them.
Also, I need to start finding the "Generic" parts. Door switches, temp sensors, door locks, ect. from other cars that fit.

Biggest hurdle right now is finding headlight lenses. Just the clear plastic parts.
Was working with a guy with a resin 3D printer and almost is able to print them clear/transparent with no haze.

 

Where are we now with prices?

 

I did a quick search and noticed some have gone even higher.

Can't find a decent Evo 9 for under 40K now.

 

I've gotta IX MR with about 67k miles on it.

It is modded tastefully with no exterior mods and all stock interior.

All original panels with VIN numbers still attached.

Wonder what I would get for this.
