Engine noises after timing belt change
Hey everyone, I need some advice. After a recent timing belt change on my Evo wagon, I've noticed a ticking/scratching noise coming from the engine. The noise only appears when I press the gas pedal and the engine hits 2000-2500rpm, but it disappears after 3000rpm. Does anyone know an Evo specialist who can help identify the issue? Appreciate any recommendations or insights!
I have attached a mp3 record from the engine bay( LOUD SOUND ALERT).

It sounds like it might indicate a misaligned tensioner or accessory or a timing component problem. For a more accurate diagnosis, I suggest contacting a local Evo specialist, such as MRT, or querying Evo owners' forums!
