I don't understand this, unless I'm falling asleep shifting, dunno. I'm hitting .56-.58 reaction times, consistant 1.8 60's (i can't do any better than that, I suck.), yet I only managed to get a 13.1 with a 109mph trap? How is that possible?

It's possible if you're not shifting fast enough. trap speed of 109mph should get you in the mid 12's. trap speed shows the power of the car.

Yup your trap speed is nice, 109MPH trap speed suggests a low to mid 12 second 1/4 mile time. Don't worry the power is there, just need alittle more practice.

108mph is 13.1, so you'll be looking at high 12's.

You need to up your 60' time. Wha'ts your 1/8 speed?

I'm having the same problem. It's just that I think I'm running super rich up top after the 3rd gear.

me:

R/T - .46 ~ .58

60' -1.6 ~ 1. 7

1/8 mph - 77 mph ~ 83 mph

1/4 - 13.8 ~ 14.0 ... wtf.

If you're hitting 13.1's with 108 mph, only the driver is holding the car back. 109 mph should be good for 12.4's or thereabouts.

they're not holding back, they're just spinning at the line. RWD. Then again, you're probably right, people are getting 12.4's at 106 mph, so...

Hmm, my track doesn't measure 1/8th info. I'm going to hook up the shift lights on the UTec in the next few days, I made my redline 7,300rpm with the utec, but I shift at 6,800, so I'm going to see if I consistantly shift at 7,200rpm I can get better times. My 60's kind of suck, I use UTec's launch control and I slip the clutch halfway, then dump it, same as I was stock. I think now though, that I'm making a bit more power, I'm going to try dumping it a little faster and see if I can hit a 1.7s 60's (Haven't hit one yet!).

Reaction time has absolutely zero effect on your ET. You can sit at the light for 10 secs or 10 minutes, but the timer for your ET doesn't start til you break the beam.

try shifting 3-4 faster and switching your RPM... your short times are good but after that you have something going on.

Hmm, as said before you definitely have to power to go deep into the 12's. 109 mph is really good. Try getting your 60 foot down to 1.7 and holding the shifts a little longer. Also this might be a basic detail but make sure you aren't letting off before the last track sensor. Some people actually let off too early, this will effect your time greatly. Good luck
