hit a 1.275 60 ft today!
Hey man you had what is known as the hot dog wrapper phenomenon. Sometimes a piece of paper blows through the lights at the funniest times.
My race car runs 10.30's @ 130 and 60's around 1.42. It's not AWD either. You did not hit a 1.275 sixty foot. Sorry.

happened to me once i usually run 1.6 on street tires, then one run it said i ran a 1.427, i even showed the timeslip. did some more tries and never got close. timing error. sorry buddy. john sheperd with the worlds fastest dsm, awd with slicks runs 1.3 60's
the slip will show 1.2. i did the same thing. the fact is can he do it again.....no. not to insult or anything. timing errors suck cause they get your hopes all up and you feeling good. but **** happens. sorry to hear your i/c popped off
This is off topic but at import war #7 at gld on sunday there was a blue evo that was competing in the class "D". He ran an ET time of 10.5 or so at 127 mph. It was incredible, they told me he was using a smaller turbo? and AMS change the gearing around. Does anybody know who this is.

About the 1.275 sixty-foot time... do the math. In order to do that, you have to accelerate at about 2.3 G's for the full sixty feet.
The equation is: 3.75 divided by (time in seconds squared) equals G's of acceleration.
A 60' time of 1.6 seconds corresponds to about 1.46 G's of acceleration -- this is pretty close to the best-case grip that you can possibly get from street tires under perfect conditions.
The 1.275 was a timing error.

Alright guys chill we all know its a timing error, poor guy lol. We had some dude @ Cecil a month ago going around telling people he cut a 0.90 60 ft. Given he drives an 11 sec turbo civic but we all looked at him like "do you know what you are saying lol"
